The audience of the 9th edition of the Lille Independent Film Festival awarded the Silver Butterfly (grand prize) to the first feature film by Frédérick Pelletier, Diego Star. Great news for the entire film crew.
Diego Star was presented as a world premiere at the 42nd Rotterdam Festival earlier this year and will continue to stroll through various festivals over the next few months before appearing in Quebec in December. The feature film tells the story of an Ivorian mechanic who has to get out of business and learn to find new landmarks in the middle of Quebec winter after being unjustly accused of having caused a major accident on a freighter on the St. Lawrence.
